Hey everyone, got home at 4AM this morning from a 22 hour long drive for the final leg of our roadtrip (video coming soon). When I got home, I had a software update waiting for me with some new features and bug fixes.
- Chess!! – The biggest change in this release is the addition of Chess to the Tesla Arcade. Play against passengers, or 4 different levels of AI. I assume this is helping to train the AI that will eventually take over the world and eliminate all of the humans?
- Beach Buggy Racing 2 controller support – this was something I had hoped they would correct soon. I recently picked up an Xbox One Wired USB controller for our Model X, and I was sad to see that it didn't work with beach Buggy Racing. This has been corrected, and there is now controller support built in.
- Media Volume Improvements – music and other audio is now lowered in volume whenever any door is opened in the vehicle.
- Dog Mode Improvements – Dog mode had an issue where the cooling could be interrupted if you had the climate controls set to anything other than auto. This has been corrected in record time with this update.

It's hot as all hell in Seattle. Today I used dog mode and luckily I kept the app open, to my horror the car was 85 degrees and climbing!
Dog mode only works if in auto, if you manually set the fan and leave the AC turns off.
Let me know if you notice any changes with autopilot or other features not mentioned here.
